Roos
Hello, we are the SENDCo Team! We work with children to help them reach their full potential!

All about Roos Class
We work closely with children to support their development across all areas of the EYFS!
Roos sessions are small groups led by the SENDCo team supported by the children’s key persons, they are available on a timetable dependent upon children’s day of attendance.
Roos takes place in the Honey Jar building, and both of the classrooms have different aims.
- One is set up as a classroom, with tables, tuff spot, story corner and floor play space.
- The other has a soft-play corner, a dark den, and sensory activities.
Roos Curriculum concentrates on four areas, with each area the spotlight of our activities on a weekly rota.
- Cognition and Learning
- Communication and Interaction
- Sensory and Physical
- Social Emotional and Mental Health
We also work on specific targets for children from their Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
Other professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapy, Early Years Inclusion Team, and the Child Development Centre can make appointments to visit children either in the Honey Jar or their main classrooms.
If you would like to arrange a visit or get more information regarding our Roos, please speak to our SENDCo Team.
Roos staff ratio is:

1 adult to 2 children
