Apply for Primary School

As of now families are able to apply for their child’s primary school place! Children that will be attending Primary School next year will have a date of birth between 1st September, 2019 and the 31st August, 2020.

Essentially your child will be 4 years old age before 1st September, 2024.

You have until Sunday 15th January, 2024, to apply for their place.

It is advised that all families apply for their child’s school place before the Christmas Holidays so that when our administration team goes to check applicants following the New Year, we have enough time to fix any problems that may occur!

We greatly appreciate parents informing us when they have applied for their school place as it will help with the process. You do not have to provide proof of your application to us however we may ask for proof if there appears to be an issue on Cornwall Council’s end.

Please be aware that children who attend the Gooseberry Bush are NOT automatically put down to attend Rosemellin Primary School.
