Rosemellin Community Primary School

Throughout their time at the Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery, children visit the school for a variety of occasions – Sports Day, Parties and Plays etc. Each classroom arranges a day and time to visit, so that the children can get used to the school building and likewise their future classroom. Consequently, children are able to transition from our setting to Rosemellin easier.

The Gooseberry Bush invites the reception teachers to visit the children in our nursery and, with parent’s permission, we will help transition to RCPS by taking the children to have lunch over at the school. Staff from the nursery and the school liaise regularly, and make frequent visits to each setting to help transitions.
