E-Safety
With the increasing influence the internet and social media have on us as a community, the Gooseberry Bush believes that E-Safety is an important factor in both our care and for families to practice at home.
E-Safety or Internet Safety, is the act of keeping children safe whilst online by implementing certain measures and limitations on their access to information.
The children at the Gooseberry Bush do not access the internet from devices whilst at nursery – rather our staff use Ipads to access videos and play music for them. This way we can ensure the media played for them is appropriate for there age and so we can prevent them accidently coming across something inappropriate.
With this in mind, we have parental controls on our devices as an extra precaution!
