Rosemellin Community Primary School

Throughout their time at the Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery, children visit the school for variety of occasions – Sports Day, Parties and Plays etc.

Each class arrange a day and time for them to visit, so that they can get used to the school building, their future classroom and take part in school activities.

The Gooseberry Bush invites the reception teachers to visit the children in our nursery and, with parent’s permission, we can transfer the child’s learning journal over to Rosemellin Primary School.

Staff from the nursery and the school liaise regularly and make frequent visits to each setting to help transitions.
