Your child’s development
There may be a time where you or your partner are concerned about your child’s growth, development or behaviour and we at the Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery will do everything we can to support and guide you.
As you may already be aware, the Gooseberry Bush have a SENDCo Team that work closely with the children and our nursery nurse team to support the children in their continuous development.
If you do have a concern about your child’s development, we ask that you speak with your child’s key worker or one of the SENDCO Team so we can allocate time and resources as needed.

I CAN, the children’s communication is a charity that focuses on helping children communicate by educating families and childminders alike. You can view their website for online resources or use their Talk Point to ask questions yourself!
Education, Health and Care needs assessments are completed for the majority of children / young people who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), so that they can her SEN Support.
Autism and Sensory Processing is a page hosted on Family Information Service that has a whole list of additional resources!
Getting support for autism is a page hosted on Family Information Service that provides various links to different resources, from parenting courses to understand autism and ADHD to family support groups.
Behaviours that Challenge is a support and advice drop-on group for families who would like to meet other parents experiencing similar challenges. This group is entirely free with no booking requirements, just pop on by when their running!
