Please note that our menus are not set in stone, as sometimes meals are swapped around day wise. This is to keep the children on their toes, and to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to try all the meals the nursery has to offer.
Healthy Under 5’s
At the nursery we promote healthy eating and development, and to aid us in this we joined the Healthy Under 5’s programme. The programme helps us improve our menus and to promote healthy physical development and healthy eating to both parents and their children.
The Healthy Under 5’s programme is currently being reviewed by Healthy Cornwall so they can improve their service offer to reflect what our community values most. Whilst Healthy Under 5’s as a programme is currently paused, we are still continuing to promote health and well-being at the nursery!
This includes learning about dental health, sugar awareness, traffic and road safety, e-safety and emotional wellbeing. We recommend when these events take place on our Healthy Under 5’s board in our main building.
