Meet our Team!
Management Team
We are the Management Team and we are in-charge of the day to day operations of the nursery, from ensuring we have enough resources to making sure staff to child ratios are balanced.
Claire handles the financial and safeguarding side of nursery management (more info on Safeguarding here).
Jenni handles the childcare and funding side of nursery management.
Jean handles the training, resource procurement and healthy life side of nursery management.
Administration Team
We are the office team responsible for keeping you up to date on the latest news, events and happenings going on at the nursery, as well as helping you with day to day problems.
Paige is our full-time, all year round Administrator as well as our Health & Safety Officer and Data Protection Officer.
Lauren is our part-time, term-time only Administrative Apprentice who is learning the ropes whilst studying for her qualification.
SEN & Inclusion Team
The SENDCo Team is made up of Laura, Jenni and Sharon at present. Each of them are responsible for their specific caseload of children and ensuring their needs are met and that they have appropriate provisions for their developmental needs.
Debbie is our Armed Forces Co-Ordinator who attends specific training regarding families who are in the force and may require additional support from nursery. Debbie feeds this training back to the nursery as needed so we can adapt as needed.
TBC is our EAL (English as an Additional Language) who attends specific training regarding how best to support children who have English as an additional language, and feeds back this training to the rest of nursery.
Support Team
Julie is our on-site nursery chef. With years of experience and a ??? qualification, Julie creates homecooked lunches every Monday to Friday for all the children at nursery.
Jo is our Cafe Supervisor who runs the Gilly’s Cafe. Working alongside Julie, Jo cooks and prepares drinks for customers and occasionally helps out with nursery events when quiet.
Mark is our on-site caretaker who handles repairs and site maintenance. Between cutting back grass and fixing the children’s toys, Mark is a big help in keeping the nursery sustainable.
Leighton is our part-time maintenance assistant who works with Mark and our contractors to keep the site tidy.
Kathy is our morning cleaner who handles the laundry and keeps the nursery clean and tidy during the busiest hours.
Rodney is our evening cleaner who gives each of the bathrooms and classrooms a deep clean each week, as well as making sure the nursery is tidy for the next day.
