We know that things tend to get a little hectic as the year goes on, which is why we try to plan and organise our events well in advance. With this in mind, any big events such as public holidays (like Easter, Halloween or Christmas), nursery events (like Graduations or Anniversary Parties) can be found below.

Parents Coffee Morning @ Gilly’s Cafe
Want to hang out and meet fellow families of the GBDN? Pop on by for a cake and cuppa!

Halloween Party @ 5:30pm until 7:30pm
Our annual Halloween party is scheduled for 31st October. Tickets will be available nearer the time. Event open to families whose children do not attend the GBDN, and siblings are welcome to attend also!
Breakfast with Santa @ 8am until 10am
Our annual Breakfast with Santa party is scheduled for 2nd December. Tickets will be available nearer the time – there will be two time slots to choose from. More info nearer time!
Fundraisers – optional purchases
Individual Photos – October
Every year our photographer comes in to take photographs of all the children. These will be available to purchase over the course of November. Photographer is DBS Checked and licensed.

Winter Fundraiser – November
The children create artwork that is then added to holiday cards and keyrings. These can be purchased over the course of November.
All work handled internally.
Winter Raffle – December
We host a raffle at the main office with a variety of prizes, from little goodies to toy sets, vouchers, etc. All are welcome to take part!
Dress Up Days
Hello Yellow Day – 9th October
Children, families and staff are invited to wear yellow to raise awareness for the Young Minds charity.
Donations appreciated!
Fancy Dress Day – 13th November
Children, families and staff are invited to wear fancy dress as part of Children In Need fundraising activities.
Donations appreciated!
Christmas Jumper Day – 10th December
Children, families and staff are invited to wear Christmas Jumpers to raise awareness for the Save the Children charity.

World Book Day @ 4th March
Children, families and staff are invited to wear outfits of their favourite book characters to encourage children to enjoy reading and expressing themselves.
Other Events
Easter Crafts Morning @ Good Friday
Families are invited to attend an easter craft morning with their little ones at the nursery. More info nearer time.
Charity Fundraisers
Red Nose Day Bake Sale @ 19th March
We will be raising money for Red Nose Day by hosting a bake sale and selling Red Nose Day merchandise.
SUMMER TERM – APR TO JUL
Celebrations & Parties
Graduation Parties & Ceremonies @ TBC
Pre-Schooler children will be graduating from nursery, and each class will have their own parties and ceremonies scheduled.

Summer Fun Day @ TBC
Our annual Summer Fun Day is open to families of the nursery and the public! This is the last big event before we quiet down for the Summer Holidays.
Part of our fun day includes: a bouncy castle, a raffle, several tombola’s, bake sales, hot dogs and drinks, and a variety of stall holders such as personalised items, Knick & knacks, etc.
